My CSR set up is on it's way. It is allegedly "out for delivery" so it is in the back of a truck driving around my town somewhere. I took a "sick" day today because it was supposed to come today. (I am a little sick so it is a little justified). Sorry for the mini rant I am just excited to finally play some Forza!

Did you get the LCE or regular? There is just so much stuff to do in this game its overwhelming. I am hooked on the Rivals mode. One of the most addictive features ever added to a racing game.

I know how you feel, Ill be doing rivals mode next! After I get my cars up.

Love the Fanatec stuff. I have the GT2/Clubsport combo. What are you using for a cockpit?

My CSR wheel and shifter are out for delivery today too! Expected to be here in about an hour, can't wait! :)

I definitely got the LCE. I wanted the Noble m600 so bad. I played around with a controller for a bit but definitely needed a wheel after playing so much GT5 with my DFGT. So I have been patient.

I do not really have a cockpit. I sit on my couch and I built a stand out of pvc and some left over wood. I made it adjustable because I have a friend that is like half a foot taller. It works well but have been putting off building a legit cock pit.

A cockpit can be made pretty inexpensively, although it might look a little barbaric (like mine lol). Took me 3 trips to Home Depot, 2 days, and about $100 to build mine. I think it turned out alright though.

How do you guys afford this stuff, GT2/Clubsport is like $500, and Cockpits are like $550!

I built my own cockpit. 30 bucks max in parts with spare stuff lying around.

I wanted to put something like t.o. built. Mine is basically a tv tray that I put together. I have a job. That's how i afford it lol. Instead of partying everyweekend I like to play video games too! Asset management is the key.

I like your design t.o. Mine takes up too much space in my living room, but it gets the job done.

I so have to do something like that, then I can build something great, any pointers?

Find a welder willing to help you as soon as possible. I have my held together with nuts and bolts as I can't find anyone (close by) willing to weld it for me. I don't understand how people don't want money. I could see if I was asking for free but if you're not welding a fence they don't want to see it.

The steering wheel is the most expensive part.

You can build a cockpit cheap. Brand new racing seats can be purchased for around $100.00 each on ebay or craigslist. Then you just need to use some creativity to engineer something that holds the seat and wheel. You can use wood or metal.
