The list ain't ready yet, but i'll be making it more complete whenever i have time for it.
This information is gathered from internet so it may not be accurate in-game.
If you find some terrible flaws or some better information about some cars, please post me a link about it.
And i will try to gather more information about hybriding here later.

For easier searching press Ctrl + F and type down the wheelbase you're looking for.

Hybrid makers will know what to do with this list ;)

    Code:
    Car : Wheelbase : Width :

I really don't think this is allowed here. More or less because you're stating outright that it's for Hybriding.

This thread isn't explaining how to make hybrids so I think it should stay. What I assume this list is for is so that people can find good chassis match ups for the car they're hybriding.

That thread gives you a list of already succesful swaps.
From here you can find matching wheelbases for oncoming hybrids. :)

    Great tool AMG. Very useful.

Looking forward to future updates. Some vital cars missing still.

    :tup::tup:

    Edit - Found This.

Its in inches but, a quick google conversion should change it to mm.

Is that "Width" number the track width, or the width of the car? I think track width would be the better numbers to have...

A good site for that info is carfolio.com

Looks useful in future projects. Only thing is that some people are :scared: about banning so hybriding is a bit calmed.

To show my appreciation of what has been started here I took the liberty of converting it to a Google doc for everyone to access here.

Currently it is only visible to those with the direct link and editing is restricted to myself or collaborators I invite. Since NMKH91 was the original author I will leave the decision to him if it should be opened for general editing and or public visibility. This needs to expand so I would say we should get as much help as possible IMO ;)

Clickity click and check it out y'all GT5 Chassis Specifications

Update: I've added a few that weren't on the list. Camaro SS 2010 and Trans Cammer... going to try working on some other stuff as I have time.

Np. I was going to just do it for myself in .xls but then figured why not make it a resource for everyone online ;)

Now I just need some more people to help keep it going...

I've added a few more sheets of info and changed the name to GT5 Technical Resources since this will become a sort of central point of reference.

Paintable/non-paintable cars, Full GT5 car list, information credits sheet added.

Well... since the patch has stopped most of this I'm gonna stop working on it at least for now.

I will leave the file up on share though.

Made a Caterham Levante replica by using the NSX-R LM Road Car's engine. It goes to show that the regular Caterham's chassis is actually very capable with some added weight and a boatload of power, but the main problem with the car is actually the super lethargic engine. With the upgraded engine i was able to keep up with the cars in the Dream Car Championship.

I'm thinking the Caterham engine would work well in a PDi 125 kart though, i'm gonna try that next.

    You don't.
You need to google the wheelbase.
Carfolio is also very handy place to find wheelbases.
