Hybrid Transmission Question

I was wondering,
I have started creating hybrids with my GAmeshark cdx but whenever I go and try to change the gear ratios, the game reverts the engine back to the original. I was wondering if you had to put the same trasmission, via Gameshark, as the engine you are putting in your hybrid. Thanks for any help.

Hiya

I'm assuming your talkin about GT2, and adjusting the tranny in the settings screen? If so, when U adjust anything in the settings menu U will loose all of your hybrid power, but after U make your adjustments, exit the race and re enter, U will have your power back and have the settings U wanted.
