Ok so let me start by saying "no i don`t own one". Which is why i ask the question is the X2010 as good as some say, give it a little thought though guy`s i mean do you actually use it to race with ,is it fun, does it handle well,do you like the look of it in replays ,was it worth the effort to own it ?

im not begging but if someone does have a spare one you can gift me send friend request to

It's a nice car & great for b-spec. But it's not really practical, because there's really no competition in the game for it (except in the one make races) and even then, the AI is pretty beatable. It's nice to look at, but aside b-spec, it's pretty useless.

Its as good as everyone says, it corners like a UFO, which is also its biggest downfall imo. Since theres really no competition for it I almost never drive it unless I need to make some really quick cash. 95% of the mileage on my X2010 is from the B Spec driver running endurance races in it.

To be honest I don't think it is really that good (although I have a couple anyway) It is very useful for B-spec if your into that. any way her are my answers for your questions.

Do I use it to race with? - No as it is to fast and not a challenge at all.
Is it fun? - To me, no. But other people love it.
Does it handle well? - It handles to well and will take a long time to get used to.
Do you like the look of it in replays? - Personally I really dislike the way it looks, but again, other people like it.
Was it worth the effort to own it? - That depends on how you got it and what you use it for. I got it from a trade and use it for B-spec so yes, it was definitely worth it but if you tried to get it from the special event it probably wouldn't be worth it as you have spent so much time trying to get it. (but it would feel great when you finally get that bronze)

By the way do you have anything to give me in exchange for the X1. If so PM me and we will discuss the trade. (but I won't be able to trade until tomorrow)

Its almost undrivable. The car handles so well that it can take turns faster then the player can react.

The only thing I don't like about it is the weird auto-throttle thing it does when you turn (the other F1 cars do it too). Otherwise its brilliant if you're using a wheel. :) But I think I'll only be racing it online. Or if PD puts up an X2010 seasonal event.

I won my two X2010s from the Vettel challenge btw. I just need to gold Nurburgring and I'll have the carbon one.

I agree. PD should've at least make a race dedicated to it (like the Formula GT Series)

I think it's a fun car to drive but it's completely ipracticle for the game. There is no race that it isn't stupidly overpowered for. So there is no race you can use it in where it would actually be fun. Who the hell wants to fly past every other car on the track before the first corner?

Agree with what others have said. It needs a dedicated race series of its own.

Its good fun in it's special event though.

It's a "cool" car, but the only track time it sees from me is when my Bspec driver(s) get a hold of it. It handles "so well" that it almost isn't even fun to drive. It is VERY VERY fast, challenging to drive on the limit for sure but it is just "too fake" for me to enjoy as much as either Ferrari F1 car and I can think of lots of other cars that are "more fun" to drive. If you are out to demolish the competition, the Red Bull is your car.

Yes.

Yes it grip as hell, no it's not fun at least on DS3, wasnt hard to get (only did bspec race during bedtime), no I never race with it.

I have all 4 that can be won,won them on my own merits. They each have been used once only and never again by myself Bob loves them though. I find them alittle beyond reality to say the least. I prefer the good old fashioned cars and at least an essence of a challenging race against AI. Each to thier own i guess some love them some loathes them, i personally ignore them.

I wonder, did anyone did a X2010 race with only x2010 in pratice mode or arcade ? How was it ?

"Worth it"? Depends. I traded for one, won one at L35 B-spec, and bought a few from grinding for credits. I want to have all the colors, but not for any real reason. I generally only use one of them, and 99% of the time it's just for B-spec grinding.

I'd probably feel more motivated towards the X2010 if everyone and their dog didn't have one.

I don't and have never driven it, but there's always some knob online driving all over the place; on the grass into the walls, yet they'll run circles around you.

Well what a mixed bag of opinions ,but none the less interesting replys, it seems this is a b-spec tool to have for grinding out the credits more than a real racer i will admit im more of a [actual than concept] kind of guy and this does apear to be like taking a hammer to crack a nut kind of car

by the way great pic kuyaglen

I don't have one, but I drove the one in the vettel challenge and it's the worst car in the game that I have driven, mainly because the steering is delayed to make the car harder than it should be to drive and it doesn't feel anything like driving a car. Why would a car that's supposed to be the ultimate car have steering that makes you crash? Maybe it's different with a wheel, but for me the only reason to have one, is for B-spec.

It takes some getting used to but it turns faster than any other car. I clocked it 0-200 then back to zero (mph) in 8 seconds. The brakes on the thing are insane.

It is very very good. Nothing comes close in terms of straight line speed, handling and breaking. But for that same reason it is not very fun. You go very very fast, but i don't drive it with even a smile on my face. Things like the FGT or a tuned caterham i drive around laughing. Because they are good handling, but you still get the sense of understeer and oversteer into, and out of the corners and you need to balance to throttle. In the X2010 you just floor it out of the corners, the only challange is not to forget your breaking points. Other then that it drives it self. That said, it is brilliant for B spec.

i acquired one by trade to trade again on an R92.. but before i traded the car off.. i took it for a spin.. driving around Tsukuba in literally 30 seconds is not my idea of fun..

my real life Pilot needs 8 seconds just to GET to 60 mph.. the VTEC though livens up the exhaust note which makes it feel oh so much quicker

I dont like it, the only time it has ever been driven is in b-spec. Also after you win it in the challenge, every other car seems strange to drive and you kinda have to relearn to drive normal cars fast again. I dont like it

No, I don't think owning one is worth the effort.

I have a prototype and I drive it maybe once every 2 weeks. It's pointless, in my opinion, as there is no decent racing that can be had with it, the thing handles chaotically and if you don't have a wheel you're in for a long learning curve to figure out how to keep it on the track.

It's a "Look what I can do!!" car.

Yes sir, it was "interesting." Challenging would probably be the best way to describe it. I found that in Arcade mode the competition seemed to be a bit more "fierce."

It makes the rest of the cars boring to drive. The ferrari F1 seasonal events are naptime slow. I use a DS3, the steering dead zone becomes very noticable in it.

Earned mine the old fashioned way, glad I did. Turn up the downforce all the way and go race Laguna Seca or Tsukuba; get enough seat time your skill will go through the roof.

It's great fun with a wheel. Whether you'll like it is down to personal taste and patience.

I like hotlapping tracks like R246 with it and racing my ghost. Nordschliefe one make races are great fun too, even if the AI are a little too cautious at times.

All these guys that tried it for all of 30 seconds aren't giving you a fully formed opinion.
