I'd like to put out a challenge, since I'd like to be more comptetitive with this game, since the racing is quite dull concidering GT4, and the computer riders are always slower.

My challenge is the following:

Track: Motegi Super Speed Way ((Oval))
Bike: Any HyperBike ((1000+ cc engines, ex: Hayabusa, or ZX-12))
Tires: Any
Tunning: Any((Street bikes only))
Racing exhaust

Since these bikes were made for ultimate speed, I'd like to know, how long does it take for you to do the full lap on this track.

ello :) does the bold bit mean 'for example' or 'except'?

for now i'll assume it means 'for example', and go and hop on my trusty Green Meanie ZX12 :cool:

edit: tricky lap! :eek: anyways, using pro mode control, i got

EX means Example, sorry for not clearing it up, either way, me, being a loyal ZX fan, scored a 0'37:894, here's the link to the image since it didn't show in the first post,

It was the Kawasaki ZX-12R , Performance Tires, some tunning((I'll get the stats later)) and some rider style adjustment.

There is still room for improvement, since in the final corner I slightly clipped the outside wall, not too hard, just enough to bog me down about 1 or 2 mph, but it's become a pain to keep up with my ghost now...

I didn't do any bike tuning and I wasn't real pleased with my proformance. It's been a while since putting some hot laps in and it shows.

Sorry -- I know you probably wanted to do something unique by choosing the Motegi oval, but it was a real turn-off for me. You may get more interest with your second challenge.

I gave it a shot in the Yoshimura 'Busa (exhaust & tires, no other tuning) a couple of nights ago, got a 38.23x after many laps, and lost interest. I would've tried one of the 1000cc superbikes but figured they didn't apply (since they're all 997cc, etc., and not really "hyberbikes").
 
You know what... I did,I just don't really name the years since there is only 1 bike of each,it's not likeyou can say 03' GSX-R1000, because it isn't there, there's only one Gixxer Thou, so... Yeah... The next challenge I'll post for Italian 1000 bikes... ^.^
 
Thanks Wolfe for clearing that up for Eternal_Ronin. I would also agree that I hope the next challenge is on a different track. I just threw in the 1000cc bikes for comparison.
 
How about Citta di Aria? Default settings except for the option of changing tires/exhaust, and obviously allowing for your own riding style. I'd like to see how some of the better riders on the forum haul those beasts around a track like that.
 
Well, problem with really saying "default settings" is that your not really sure that everyone is really following that rule, that's why mainly i allow for tunning, what you can tune in TT, is not as massive as GT4, where it's basicly impossible to keep track of what they're running.

Citta di Aria would be a nice track, though I'm working more on the Supersport Championship, you should join.

Fair enough, lol. Unfortunately, these are my last few weeks of school and finals are coming, so TT, and just about every video game, is sitting on the back burner. Thanks for the offer though, hopefully you guys will still be doing this in the fall.
