Well, it's not a pack, but for some, 3 Genesis Coupes will be available to download on Nov. 17th due to Hyundai's marketing in-game.

We will receive Rhys Millen's 550Hp Red Bull drift car, HKS' Genesis, & a special one-of-a-kind Genesis yet to be shown. The DLC also adds a new racing series for the car.

Hyundai DLC Info
Video games are, it seems, a natural companion to modern car culture. Pros use them--or simulators that resemble them--to train for tracks they haven't seen or don't see often. Amateurs use them to imagine what it'd be like to be a pro. And people of all stripes play just to have fun.

So the introduction of a set of special-edition Hyundai Genesis Coupes to the digital world of Forza Motorsport 3 makes a lot of sense in terms of reaching potential buyers. The cars in the game won't bear a whole lot of resemblance to the cars on dealership lots, though.

The three digital Coupes are the Rhys Millen Racing Red Bull Genesis Coupe, the HKS Genesis Coupe and a one-of-a-kind in-game Genesis Coupe. The Genesis will also get its own race series, plus a tool to let gamers upload their best Genesis Coupe photos and videos from in-game customization and racing action.

The hope is that the tie-up will increase awareness among the enthusiasts and younger buyers that tend to gravitate toward the Forza series of video games. Sound like marketing garbage? It may be marketing gold: Hyundai says teens in the U.S. wield $172 billion in spending power on their own and directly influence another $565 billion in parental spending with their input. That's a whole lot of spending going on.

But regardless of what you think about the marketing ploy or the 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe itself, it's easy to get behind carmakers that sponsor and help provide realism to games as enjoyable as Forza Motorsport 3.

The game was launched last week, and is available for the Xbox360 platform. The Hyundai Genesis Coupe vehicle package will be available as a free downloadable add-on through Xbox LIVE starting November 17.

Cool, although a few marketplace people will be upset since I'm sure some some of them spent quite a bit of time coming up with the Red Bull livery.

Never gonna complain about free DLC. Sounds good to me. I've always liked HKSs designs.

Nice to see some free cars after the intense amounts of money we need to spend for everything else.

Sweet. It'd be great if they kept the free DLC flowing... at least for a short while. Pretty please, Turn 10? :p

Well if it works, I bet other car markers will jump on board.

Wouldn't be surprised if the one-of-a-kind Genesis was Rhys Millen's RM460, the mid-engine Tau v8 with ITBs.

This is awesome, the Genesis is my favorite car in the game right now. I'll be getting all three ASAP!

Am I the only one that thinks that giving us three free paint jobs is kind of, uh, lame?

Rhy's car will be should be different. It'll be like the D1 Top Secret S15. The HKS is probably just going to be the regular car with some mods.

Is there anything in the game that prevents you from building a car just like the D1 S15 though? After all, we can add ****loads of power, tear out 800+lbs of junk, full cage, etc to any car. Much like the "hero cars" LCE gets, the NSX and 350Z.

True enough. I still can't wait though.

hyundai, I'll pass.
It's bad enough they're advertised all over the NY tracks.

LOL, pardon the random off-topicness of the following question as I've been out of the loop for quite a while here, but whats goin on with the avatars with the letters?

Free DLC is always nice.

Emphasis added.

Why complain about free content? I'm not a huge fan of the Genesis in-game, but I'm looking forward to playing with the drift car.

It's a Premium avatar fad in the Infield, made to copy the CS4 icon style and looks sorta like Elements.

Millen's drift car is pushing 500hp and torques turboed. Also has a wider track/tires besides the weight difference.

The RM460 is a whole different beast which is being unveiled at SEMA. Hyundai already has a supercharged Tau V8 prototype, but don't count on it being turboed any time soon.

Because its a modification of an existing car in game. I want entirely unique car models as DLC, paid or not. Not something as simple as a new paintjob and some easily done modifications to a car we've had since day one. Even if the drift car is "significantly" different, its probaby a relatively simple effort to have created it when the stock car is there to work from.

Then wait for the Holiday Pack. Jeez, it's free for god's sake. Take it or leave it.

HKS: (Lol, really? It got a bodykit!) Edit: Uh, maybe this isn't the HKS one, that bodykit is in the game...Hope not anyway.

"FM3": (Only considerably different one, looks like a SuperGT class maybe)

Edit: Possibly not the HKS car above, despite the article inferring it is.

The red one is the HKS car. It's freaking ugly, I know. Don't worry, I'm part of the Hyundai thinktank, so I let them know.

If it is, well...Go buy yourself a Gen. Coupe, add all the KenStyle aero pieces, buy some HKS turbo parts, and you're done.
