Right now, it's 11:45 am.

Last period (Honors Alg. II), I my Chapter 6 test... now, on test days, we always turn in our Chap. Review homework, but, I took it out of my binder yesterday while cleaning out my notebook.

That made my day bad enough, since I'm teetering between two grades in that class. But, to top it off, my teacher also informed me that she never recieved my #47 assignment, which I know I did and turned in. So now I'm missing two homework assignments that I did, which could bump my grade down pretty substantionally.

Then, this period (Computer Applications class), we also had a test, a very simple Excel one, and I totally messed up. Let's just put it this way... I misunderstood one of the directions, and used the wrong formula in a row of cells.

Next period is Spanish class, and I didn't complete most of my work from yesterday. Plus, we have just been assigned a project for that class to make dolls (fabric, everything), which will eat up my weekend time.

7th period is AP Biology, where I have another test (it's on genetics), and my friends have informed me that it's one of the most difficult tests that's been taken this year (and they're all really, really hard... I only do well because it's graded on a curve).

I know, I know... many, many people have more difficult, more exasperating days, but this is a community, so you're just going to have to put up with my whining for now. :smilewink I just need a place to vent a little.

Anyway, my day in a nutshell. I think I'm going to hide under my bed for the next week or so...

You'll get through it. There are always tough times and you just got to deal with them until they pass :). I learned that lesson well a few years ago, and I still remeber it. Don't let it get you down because its not worth it. Remember "Rule number 1) Don't sweat the little things. Rule number 2) Everything is a little thing" or something like that.

OA

Heh, I feel for you. Sometimes it seems like my 5th grade daughter is on a treadmill from assignment to assignment. The poor kid barely has time for Girl Scouts, let alone dance class or riding or music lessons or some such that 10-year-old girls usually want. She's at an academically rigorous school, and they load her down.

Best of luck, and let me know if I can help...

I had to comment on your signature, neon_duke - totally great stuff. A+...

...y_c - I also had a bad day today, so I know how it is. I just tell myself that in a few weeks, months, whatever, it won't matter what's been said, or done, or in your case, what grade I get on something, since it's happened and nothing can change it. Just move on... :D

Sometimes the world is out to get you. Some invisible force is conspiring to ruin your life.

Yup.

Really sucks.

But eventually everything no longer matters. Sometimes that's my only cold comfort... a little trip to the future.

Yesterday was my day

My garage door is all screwed up and you have to click the clicker like 5 or more times to get it to go down. So last night I decided to "fix" it. To make a long story short, never disconnect the springs on your garage door, that is, unless you want to spend the rest of the night reconnecting them. I wasted five hours on that damned thing just to get it back to it's previous screwed up state :banghead:

Thanks for the support guys!

And, don't worry, I'm not stressed out (pulling hairs out of my head or anything)... like duo, I learned several years ago how to easily deal with stress... I haven't yet had an emotional breakdown or the like, and I sure hope I don't anytime soon! :D My general rule of thumb is that if whatever is happing won't cause me any harm down the road, then it's not worth worrying about (there are exceptions, of course).

Also, if any of you were wondering (yeah, right!), the AP Biology test was extremely difficult... I finished the test less than a minute before the bell rang, and I had to guess on a substantional number of questions. And, I found the missing math assignment, so I'll be showing that to my teacher tomorrow.

At least I had plenty to look forward to when I got home (hint, hint: Macintosh). :D
