Just to let you know, it was 1/24 and not 1/18 scale, but Target had AE86 from the "Initial D" on clearance. I picked one up earlier this week for $4.99. I thought you might want to check out your local Target store.
thanks, I found out biante models ( www.biante.com ) has the green light from toyota to make a 1:18 model of the AE86, but it may be some time before they release it, and we may never see it in Australia because the demand for this model is not so great. But, in the end I got a 1:18 die cast supra model made by Jada Toys in their import racer series, its a pretty awsome model. Also, if any one own a 1:18 infini type 3 FC, THIS IS A VERY RARE MODEL CAR AND IS WORTH ALOT OF MONEY. It seems there were not many released and are hard to come by.
