I think the reason it only took me half an hour to get used to the handling in Prologue and about the same time to start setting decent lap times with the cars was because i had seen so many Prologue videos and basically knew the tracks off by heart already. :(

Not to mention i had already downloaded the GT4:P intro movie so that wasn't a surprise anymore. :mad:

Ah well. You can't win 'em all ay?

I think it was because the tracks are very basic and boring, with very limited longevity. :(


Of course you just may be a very good games player.;) :)
 
They aren't really that easy. I was very surprised i could go so fast through the residential section of Citta di Aria (the tight part) when i had only just started driving on that track for the first time.

Watching videos takes away the element of surprise. :(

I really understand what you're saying.

I took the decision not to open the thread with the pictures of all the cars in the E3 demo because of that.

I'm also considering not coming here or any other place in search of GT4 info until the game is out.

But believe me, it's hard...

Where did you get the intro movie?
 
I know what your saying Mustang_man. I do fear that by taking as much interest in GT4 as I am at the moment, it will end up with me getting my hopes up, and when you game comes it, they will be dashed to the rocks, so to speak.

Fuji provides quite a challenge. Nailing the proper line can be quite difficult, what with the turns that change radius in mid-corner. Because the straight aways are so long, 2 or 3 mph lost on one turn exit can really cause a big drop in lap time.

I have worn prologue out, but I still try to shave my laptimes down on that track w/ most of the cars.
