AAAARRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!! so, i just went to The Orleans (i live in las vegas) with my girlfriend today for lunch, and when i came back, I FOUND OUT MY BEAUTIFUL WHITE 2004 ACURA RSX HAD BEEN CRASHED! AND IT WAS A HIT AND RUN TOO! THE HATCH IS FLIPPING LIKE SNOOPY, THE TAILIGHTS ARE **** AND THEY DON'T WORK NOW, AND THE WHOLE BUMPER FELL OFF! THE END WAS LIKE HELL! WHY CAN'T I HEAR MY ALARM?! (it was still blaring when i got there) I AM SO MAD! i called the cops, they hauled it away, and a few witnesses were talking to the police, they described it as a "crazily souped up Honda Civic with the license REVHAPY". so the cops are investigating this case. i hope they find the culprit. while i'm typing this, my RSX is being stripped down and damages costs $12 grand....anyone had an accident with their dream car before? and sorry if this is in the wrong column, but i am so MAD!
 
Wow, that really sucks. Wrong forum, but still. Hope that you can track the guy down and get it taken care of. :indiff:
 
Hey man, sorry to hear about your car. I really hope they find the jerk that did it. They should tie him to a telephone pole and let you beat the **** out of him with a baseball bat for something like that. There's no excuse for hit and run accidents.

i kinda have a hit and run

i was driving home one day and was getting ready to turn my beater 84 prelude down my dirt road when this guy plows me in his huge chevy 2500 truck and throws me into the bushes. then he cant see me since im way in the bushes and he drives off. i call the cops and tell them ive got a hit and run so they send someone out. then before the sherrif gets there the guy comes back on a bicycle saying he fell asleep and didnt know if he hit someone or ran off the road. how he could say that is beyond me since i no longer had a trunk and i had his license plate in my backseat :) so i think that is why he came back. a beater 84 pelude isnt a dream car but i twas my car so that counts as a dream car to me.
 
If you look, you'll see that I started my own similar thread. Some guy in an SUV backed into my Miata, and then drove off. She's in better contition, though, just paint chipping, scratches, and a smashed headlight. Even if I don't feel right driving the car, I still really like it, and i'm quite pissed about this.
 
man... that suck... i love rsx and i feel you man... good luck and i hope they find the person who did this!

My girlfriend's week-old Audi convertible was smashed in a similar fashion in a parking lot in Manhattan four days after she got it - the damage estimate is $5600 and the car requires a new passenger door. :(
 
Dude, I feel for you. And I love RSXs too, damn. :grumpy:

Worst hit and run we've (my family) have been through was at a McDonald's when some jackass went backing out and turning the wheel at the same time and bent in the right fender of our Santa Fe. None of us saw it happen, but one can safely assume that's what went down.
