no, really. I went to www.askdrz.com , and asked Dr. Z (or, at least, his team of experts) a question.

Dear Dr.Z, Will you be building the Charger/300C with a 6-Speed Manual
Transmission at anytime in the future? Oh, and can you make the
Challenger light enough to compete with the New Camaro and Mustang?

Here's what Chrylser said.

"Dear (Jim):

Thanks for contacting Dr.Z. Your message has been forwarded to us for
response.

At this time, DaimlerChrysler has not released any plans that indicate
the future production of the Chrysler 300 or the Dodge Charger with
manual transmissions. However, with constantly shifting market trends I
would hesitate to discount the possibility of new products on the
horizon, specifically designed to suit your needs. Please feel free to
check back with us periodically for future updates.

The all-new Dodge Challenger will make its debut as a 2008 model, in
calendar-year 2008. True to both its historical and modern concept car
roots, the 2008 Dodge Challenger will be offered as a two-door, HEMI
V-8
powered, manual-transmission, and rear-drive coupe. Currently, we do
not
have pricing information, full specifications or anticipated
productions
numbers. Also a waiting list has yet to be established for the vehicle.

For more information on the all new Dodge Challenger, please visit

, and to stay abreast of new announcements, don?t forget to sign up for
updates!!

So, what do you think?

It's a bot that's programmed to respond to certain words like, "challenger" and "300C"

manual transmissions.

You can program a Bot to do that?

...I just sent him a question about the 300C Long-Wheelbase, we will have to see what happens...

Why does he say vielen danke?

Many thanks? Americans butcher Deutsch so often it isn't funny, but many times just the use of it makes things funny. Dr. Z speaks in German just a bit in the commericals, so just to tie in that our American company is also part German.

Ive noticed you american guys use german quite alot on this forum. Thankfully I can read german, and speak it. Aber Ich kanst das nicht shreiben.

You can program a bot to do nearly anything except pass a turing test convincingly so far.

I'd bet that is a bot, doesn't seem natural enough to be human.

Ich kann shreiben, aber Ich kann nicht sprochen so gut.

Strange. I am of heavy German descendence, and I have yet to use German in these forums.

YSSMAN
Ich kann shreiben, aber Ich kann nicht sprochen so gut.

It's actually "schreiben" , kannst du schreiben?
:D jk!
I'm learning german in school, never learned english, but it's lot easyer to make sentences in english!

The only reason I use Deustch every now and then is because I've taken a couple classes on it. I know very little and didn't soak much up, but whenever I come across an english word with an "ie" or "ei" in it I follow the Deustche Regel. Why don't we have a rule like the Germans? I thought German was a very difficult language to learn, mainly because of all the tenses and gender forms, but I'm interested now and have no classes to take since I'm gradutated.

By the way YSSMAN, "cannot speak [it] very well" is "kann [es] sehr gut nicht sprechen."

And here's something funny: Ich habe ein wunderbares braunes Auge!

I used to be fluent in german. Then I left for england (dad was in british army) and learned english in like 2 weeks. I then went on to forget my german.

How come you only have one eye? :D

Schmeckt gut.

Hahahaha. When I was in Germany, my uncle asked one of his friends how to say good so he could tell the waiter guy that the beer was good. So, his friend tells him to say, "schmeckt gut," and he does. So, like, a little later, these two hot chicks walk by and then my uncle says to them, "schmeckt gut!" Hahahahaha. Man, it was funny.

...Oops on behalf of my German. I haven't been in class for a while, and I didn't do incredibly well the whole time. I can usually write it pretty well and carry a baisic conversation, but when it comes to speaking it, that might be a problem.

EDIT: I've gotten a partial response to my question:

Dear Dr. Z,

My Grandfather has been looking to buy a new luxury sedan. Does the new
Chrysler 300C Long-Wheelbase model pack in enough luxury and bling for
both he and I to look cool driving it?

Partial Response:

Dear Brad:

Thanks for contacting Dr.Z. Your message has been forwarded to us for response.

We are pleased to read of your interest in the 2007 Chrysler 300 long-wheelbase. This vehicle is expected to arrive in dealerships in the fall of 2006. At this time, DaimlerChrysler has not officially announced the pricing and full product specifications for the 2007 Chrysler 300 models. More information should become available to us as well as being posted on the Chrysler website closer to the official release date of the 2007 model. We encourage you to stay in contact with Chrysler.com and your local Chrysler dealership as further information becomes available.

Yep. Total bot.

Give me a break, though. You actually thought DaimlerChrysler would hire a bunch of schmucks to answer questions and crap?

According to the E-Mail that I recieved, I can still expect one more message about my question, as it will be considered by their "pannel of experts."

Abarth, my singular eye was a brown eye--a butt hole. Brown eye=butt hole. It ewas supposed to be funny, and that's why I wrote "funny:" in front if it.
