Firstly I apologize if this has been brought up before. Now on to my post.
So Friday night I started a the Four hour race at Tsukuba Circuit. I did about 35 minutes and then had to suspend it. Saturday morning I got up to 2 hours and 40 minutes before I had to pause it again (Small children are so inconsiderate when it comes to letting us parents play GT5).
Saturday night I go to resume. This time though the AI goes flying off the track instead of down pit road. It then starts heading down the track, but slams the breaks next to my pit and begins repeatedly slamming the pit road wall. Mercifully the car keeps moving down the track a bit with each hit until finally it misses the wall, turns and just keeps going.
Now, I expected the car to pit when it came back around, but it didn't. Instead it just kept going. Unfortunately I still had a lot of fuel left in the car at the point too. Finally, after an hour and 20 minutes (during which I watched some TV) the AI crossed the start finish line and I won the race (thank God I had a huge lead when this all happened).
So, is this a known bug? Has it happened to others?
