I beat Yamauchi at his own game-did anybody else?

In the new issue of Road & Track there is an article on GT3. It states that Yamauchi, the producer of GT3, ran a lap of 1:22.812 with an NSX Type S Zero at Midfield Raceway. I decided to do the exact same thing and got a 1:22.423 after 4 laps. He needed 5 to get his best lap. Has anybody else tried to beat Kaz's time? I suspect my time has, or will soon, already been beaten by some hardcore gamer who has all golds in all the license tests.

P.S. Hey Kaz, next time turn off ASM and TCS like the rest of us gamers. I'm sure you can beat my piss-poor time then.:p
 
hehe, i never read about it, but i got my Multi colored type zero to get a lap time of 1:22.462, so close argh! haha oh well we both beat him though hehe
 
That wasn't that hard to do. Beat it 2nd time around!

YAY!!! I beat him!!!! :)

BTW...turning asm and tcs off is better!!!
