I believe a strategic right turn may have saved my life tonight.

we have had a few bunp and steals here, where they take your car during the insurance exchange but the few ive seen end in a baddd accident because the owner called the cops THEN exchanged info then the car gets stolen, chase ensues, anyhow glad your safe don't wanna loose an awesome member of gtplanet!

I've been in a situation before where some guy was chasing me and I ended up racing through a downtown neighborhood to get away from him.

I don't doubt something fishy was going on and you needed to get out of there. Feelings like that rarely happen but we humans don't tend to get suspicious for no reason. I think what you did was justified.

So, I told my wife about the incident the following afternoon.
I'd have told her earlier, but I wound down enough to go to sleep before she woke up.

She made me promise to go a different way from now on.
I'm tempted to "uncage" Big Red tonight for the commute....
You can bet I'll be hyper on guard in the "morning" going home.

All things equal, I would REALLY liked to have just been dripping with horsepower....(Infiniti G35X or Mazdaspeed6 come immediately to mind)....I see myself taking a different route home in the future.
A Dodge Viper would be ideal.

I used to get that paranoid while smoking up on my way home from work too. I can remember one time thinking a cop was coming up beside me, only to find out it was a guy walking a dog. You weren't hitting the bowl extra hard that night were you?

You know Gil, an all black ex police ford police interceptor with a big ole push bar is a pretty cheap buy these days and from what I've heard people don't usually mess with people driving one of those.........

Scary story, Gil! Makes me glad I have a truck with a big V8 at the front. No tiny Nissan or Saturn would ever even think of messing with me!

I've actually never had a bowl in my life, unless you're talking Honey Nut Cheerios.

I HAVE a large truck, no pushbars, but I can't really afford to drive it as an every day vehicle, what with 18 quarts of oil at each oil change, and 44 gallons of fuel from empty....

AS for a big ole black Crown Vic, I'll take mine with a Mossberg 500 in the rack, and an extry brite bulb in the spot.👍
