Not a serious topic, but one of thanks. I believe I owe it to a good few guys here today :)

The origin of it all stems from Here!

On Wednesday night, using a few tips and hints I had taken into account..... on the third date I asked her if she would mind me calling her "Girlfriend" from now on. The rest?

So thanks to everyone who commented and gave me some advise. You've all helped make me a happy lad and I still get a few giggles from some non serious ones :D Its taken a little longer than we both hoped or wanted it too but both of us have had a few crazy weeks recently lol. So once again, Cheers boys!

Nah, I'm many steps behind tommy was. Being 15 means I really only meet girls from school, and up untill last year being a proper full on nerd didn't help. I have since tried to reinvent myself by hanging out with the popular people (I have known most of them for 8 years so that was quite easy), however girls still see me as a nerd and my past geekishness often catches back up with me.


Doesn't also help that I can't fight well atall so I'm kinda seen as wimpy (I'm actually reasonably well built body however I'm just rubbish at fighting). And also the fact that I can't stop being clever and getting A's in nerdy subject doesn't help my attractiveness.

There are a couple of girls I fancy however thanks to the wonder of people not keeping their mouths shut means that they know I fancy them so it kinda makes things arqward even just speaking to them just because they don't like me. My natural knack at not being able to talk to girls doesn't help either, when ever an attractive girl starts a conversation I end up saying something that just sounds dodgy and making things once again arqward.

I guess its just a waiting game untill a girl takes a liking to me, or I end up getting invited to a party making some drunk move that suprisingly ends up getting laid or getting a girlfriend.

Anyway, thats my pathetic life.
 
So, you're just 15? No sweats man, your time will come.

Used to be a nerd too, I still am, I just don't look like it anymore. :lol:

I don't think I contributed to that thread at all because I'm useless with girls too :lol:

Although, I'm starting uni in a couple of weeks, so I'm hoping for something to happen there. Doing a Physics degree and being quite nerdy doesn't seem to work in my favour though.
 
It really is funny just how quickly your life can change.
Here's some recent examples.

I was away for a week in a house with 7 other people. 2 of whom where female and the others where guy (myself included). Of the 7 one was my cousin and the rest where all "strangers".
I would never consider myself the nicest looking but she told me that there was something about me that she couldn't help but dwell into, if thats the right set of words which is why she asked ME out!
We had our first date setup about a month ago, 2 days before It I.... failed a backflip of a swing and ended up in hospital getting 2 plates and 13 screws. So was really caring and was sending me a message on my phone every day to see how I was keeping.

Now that Im offically going out with her, looking back at how much and quickly my life has changed is awesome! Only thing I'd like right now is to get a definate yes or no if my job will still be offered to me come the end of September, and to have a set of "wheels" to drive her around instead of the other way round :)

Nerd at maths science and tech, not at English, never been any good at English.
