Is that even possible? I drove it when I first bought it, did like 300+ without the NOS, smooth as silk on the apron. I've been using it in B-Spec to win money and cars. I went into the tune-up garage to put on SS tires and I noticed the recycle thing hadn't been applied so I did that.

Now when I take the car out it's almost undrivable(ya, not a word I know) with any tires and in stock config. Did all the B-Specing without the recycling on twist and 'break' the car?

I can't think of why else it would be like it is now...:ouch: Crap!

K, I'm going to get another one....damn.

Did you fit the chassis stiffener (rollcage)? If you did, that´s your problem. Sell the one you have and buy a new one, and don´t add the rollcage!

When you do the chassis refresh, the added rollcage wich have been distorted, "freezes" the chassis in it´s current state. That is what it does, when you fit it aswell, but once you add a refresh, the car is screwed forever.

Yep....

So that's the culprit then, not sure why I put it on it in the first place. Don't normally.

Well off the to Big Toyota Sale. (wonder if they'll take a trade-in?) 👍

You can alway punish Bob for wrecking your car, by making him earn the money for a new Toyota... Take him to the DTM series!

I noticed that when I went a got another one just now that in the tune-up garage the refresher thing is already on the car. I must have driven it without the roll cage and then when I as doing all the B-Specing for some reason I installed the roll cage making it all twitchy I guess.

Oh well, I left the cage off and it's great again. 👍

(perhaps maybe I shouldn't play when I'm really tired)

Interesting. Thanks,

I don't normally install the roll cage, I just figure it's useless in the game. I do always have the refresher installed as it seems like a good thing to have. I noticed a long time ago that when install the roll cage that depending on the car you get under-steer and other related issues.

I do find it interesting about applying the refresher 'after' your car is all twisted up and it locking that in. If that's the case then you most definitely need to install that first thing. 👍

The text that scrolls at the bottom of the screen in the Tune Shops tells you that the rollcage will change your car's behavior. That alone has been enough to convince me not to get it.
