Hey! When I got Granturismo 4, the first thing that I wanted to do was drift becasue of Granturismo 3. When I finally found out how to fix the settings of Granturismo 4 cars for drifting...it wasn't half as easy as in GT3. If you have any specific car settings for the hks silvia drift car, then please share them with me, I plan on entering the gtplanet drift competition once I brush up on my skills...thanks :dopey:

Dude I'm a big fan of the HKS Silvia and these are my drift settings:
BIG Angle style!!!

Upgrades: Turbo Kit:Stage 4.It will help you get more speed which means longer slides on S turns.
Sports Tires: Hard (S1) to have a better change of not spinning out.(put on front wheels!!! only)
Weight Reduction:Stage 3 , again, to help you get longer drifts.
Boost for that RPM boost when you need it.
Suspension: Full-customize: to adjust the ride hight ....
Transmission: Full customizeto adjust gear ratio

Settings
Tires: F/ Hard (S1) R/ Soft(S3)
Brake controller: F/ 20 R/ 5
Suspension:
Spring Rate: F/ 12.0 R/14.0
Ride Height: F/80 R/80
Camber Angle: F/3.0 R/2.0
Stabilizers: F/2 R/3
Transmission:
Auto: 9
Driving Aids:
ASM sys. (oversteer):0
ASM sys. (Understeer):20
TCS Controller: 0 or 1 which ever you will like better.(I use 1)
Weight Balance:
Ballast Weight: 200
F/R Balance: -40

OK, This is my technique. I go into a turn at about 110KPH at 2 gear. Then I press the breake to start the back turning, the I press on the accelerator to get drift. I pretty much all the time get about 60-70 degree turns and if my RPM 's go low I switch into second gear. Make sure not to keep the wheels turned the opposite way of your drift too long, cuz that will make you spin out :scared: . GOOD LUCK!! :) :) :)
