I cannot find next thread link

Maybe I'm blind, but right now I seem to need to go back to the forum display in order to go to the next thread. I.e. I cannot find any "Next Thread" button or equivalent.

Help!

Can I just not see it?
Or is is missing for some reason? Just for me? (i.e. cookie or skin problem, maybe?)

Or am I just a :dunce:

And I did a "visual search" for a similar thread....
And tried to give this a good title...
 
You mean this: « Previous Thread | Next Thread » ?

It's right between the last post of each page and the "Quick Reply" box.

Note that I'm using GTP Lite.
 
No, you're not crazy, I removed those links from our Default style. I didn't think anyone actually used them. As DiabolicalMask has already pointed, out, though they are still there in GTP Lite. :)

"I don't use this, so no-one does". A common fallacy in computer maintenance.

The links tend not to be convenient if you reply to nearly everything you read, but otherwise they tend to be a good way to "catch up".

The ideal links would be relative to how you got to the thread.

I.e. if you came via a search "next thread" would take you to the next result of the search.

That is just a far-fetched suggestion that designers might want to think about.

Okay, I found "GTP Lite". And the links are there.
But, in Netscape at least, the skin does look a trifle, um, yucky.

In my subjective opinion...
 
Yes, it is a bit yucky because it is the default vB templates. I didn't change them at all except for the colors. I'll try to find somewhere to add those links for you in the default style. :)
 
Jordan, just put the links above the "Printable Version. Subscribe, Email Thread" buttons which are located over the Quick Reply table.
 
Yeah, they fit OK there. Sorry I forgot to add this in sooner, SportWagon.
 
Thanks. Using those links really is the usual way I browse forums, and it should save your site extra hits per visit over alternatives.
