i don't know what's going on, but even if i go days between trying to gift a car, it says i've already reached my daily limit and won't let me send it. am i missing something? i gifted a car to my brother on saturday night, and i tried to send him another one this morning before work, but it denied me. it's been over 30 hours, at least, so what gives?

edit: and i'm well aware of the (since removed) 1,000,000 CR limit. this has nothing to do with that. thanks!!

Seriously?

Oh man, better check to see if it's affecting me too. I still have a trade I promised earlier this week.

Does your brother use the same PS3? It's one trade per PS3 per day now, so if he already sent one you can't.

Or does anyone else using the same IP address as you play GT5? Apparently even if you have two PS3s you can still only trade one car a day if they share an iternet connection.

I retrieved my second PS3 from my wife's entertainment center and set them up side by side under my TV last Friday night. They are both connected wireless to the same router. The only inconvenience that I encountered was ejecting the disk from one PS3 and inserting it into the other, but otherwise, I had no problem making making back and forth trades between my main and sub-account on either Saturday or Sunday night. These were 20,000,000 credit cars, + five Gold Chrome chips, + five assorted tuning parts.

I suppose that this could have changed since last night about 8:00 pm local time, and I will find out for sure in about 4 hours (after 6:00 pm Central Standard Time).

If you use a wireless router, it might assign separate IP addresses for each console, so you can work around the restriction. Annoyingly, if you use two accounts on the same console that's not gonna work, and you have to be very patient :ouch:
