I can't race with my friends - Car wont move at race start

since the last patch, not 1.07 from december 6th, 2017, i no longer can play in lobbys with my friends.
when i join them, i only see one person on the track, even though the lobby
is full. when the race starts my car simply wont move :(

i also get constant "the playstation network server cannot be reached" error message.
this only happens in this game and it starts to get very annoying.

my ps4 pro is connected through lan cable on a 50mbit down and 10mbit up connection.

any advice?

ps: i live in germany, playing with a usa psn account

I think that's the problem
If You are in Germany you need an EU PSN account to join the EU servers
(with a US account you are on a US server, than with a high latency ping)
 
playing on a us server results in the same thing: my car wont move and i only see the host driving

with todays patch i can no longer see my friends lobbies, nor can they see mine.

this means the game is unplayable for me. gonna request a refund.
