I can't register - can someone help?

I managed to finish in the top 20 in Portugal, so I went happily to register for the finals.
I couldn't believe it when I couldn't register, I got the message:
"Sorry, this ID is not on the qulified list"

I called the Sony helpline and they say that maybe it's because the account where I downloaded the demo is not the same account where I made the GTAcademy times!!!

Now I don't know what to do and I can't find any phone or e-mail for the GT Academy organisation

After so many hours of effort I am going to stay out of the finals?

Can please anyone help?


Problem solved!
I was using the ID from a different PSN account. I ran home during lunch hour and checked it. It was all my fault, I feel really stupid :dunce:
I'm registered now.

I would say double check your account email address. You have more than one PSN account.? Then just make sure you register using the correct email.
 
Hey, that's unbelievable, if your PSN ID shows up in the list (and I know it does) that means you downloaded the game using, if not the same account, at least another portuguese account you have.

Because people that downloaded the game from a different region account don't have their times posted in their country's leaderboard.

Gavião, check the rules very carefully and check if in those rules it is specifically stated that you must do your laptime with the same account you used to download the demo.

And also, try to know if indeed you used a different account to do the download.

You are very kind Maz, but I'm already too old and too grumpy to spend more than a couple of hours driving alone in a TT. My 90th time (15th when it was made back in the first few days of this competition) shows quite well that I am now unable to battle you and all other more focused and skilled guys out there. I guess GTP_Burnout feels the same, I noticed how he did a few times at the beggining and then let go of it, just like myself :)
