I can't sell a car

Hi there,
I have got Nissan GT-R SpecV (GT Academy SPECIAL) '09 in my garage and I can't sell it or give it to the friend or whatever else to remove it from my garage.
Is there any way to get rid of this car ?
 
What version of the game are you running?

In the early days special cars and DLC couldn't be deleted, but now they can

When you try to sell it, it should give you a prompt saying, this car cannot be sold, remove from garage, ect
 
You can't sell most of the academys. You can't remove it, no.
 
Why would you want to remove it? It's not like theres a limit on the amount of cars you can have in your garage....
 
Well I guess you're stuck with an extremely rare car, then, huh?

Nearly as rare as the Stealth Cars - which cannot be deleted/shared/sold/gifted whatever.

Limit is 2000 cars that you can have in your garage and no, you can't remove that car. Just backing up what has been said.👍
 
Unless you edit the savegame and raise the car limit... on your own risk of course.
 
Keep in mind the car limit is there due to hardware limitations.

It's not advised to modify that limit..

Although the item limit is annoying, every time I start the game it shows me this stupid warning message. :rolleyes:

You too uh? I've also got over 500 tickets in the hauler. Someday I'll open them all....maybe.
 
I had a cull of my garage the other day, I was rollin on 1700+ but decided to get rid of most as I never used them.

I'm now down to around 550 :D
 
As the 2000 cars limit is there for a good reason (your save would explode if you go much over that)
2000 cars already supply you with a massive 6mb savegame which is a pain to load up!

So, redoing my collection, I ended up with over 4700 cars in my delivery truck :D
Savegame never been SO small ahhaha
Now it only takes a minute to scroll throught the truck items.

6mb is small? Lol

Get an ssd. Won't take you long to load up then ;)
 
I didn't realise you could use SSD's in the PS3. Is there a specific way of formatting it?

Awkwardly I used to be really good with computer tech.. I've seriously fallen behind since I left school.

Nah, the PS3 will do it for you. But if you really want to know it, it's FAT32 UFS.


EDIT: FAT32 is used if you want to connect an external storage device.

we pay a lot of money for game and in my case every dlc and there is no little option "delete car" for example...
Why PD impose which cars players should keep ?

Only a handful cars are affected, let's cry about more crucial things. Or perhaps to weep bitterly or to wail or whine or ..., just in case you feel offended in some way, which would be ridiculous though.

I'm really trying hard to prevent it, let me give you a hint: I wrote "let's", which is supposed to show some solidarity and compassion. This should cause a warmhearted feeling, a little whiff of bliss, and avoidance of cruelly loneliness.
In consequence the humans social vein of companionship and sympathy will liven up and all thoughts about possibilities of offense and indignity will fade.

Why fifteen years ago there wasn't something like "patch" in release day and another after week and another and another and another and game still has a lot of bugs ?

I played almost all gran-turismo parts on psx/ps2 and Gran Turismo 5 in MY opinion is not a good successor.

No need to format it, once you install it and fire up the PS3, PS3 will do the rest.
If you are thinking of buying an SSD, no need to spend a lot for a "high-speed" SSD, cause PS3 can only go up to the speeds that Sata-1 protocol allows.
SATA 1=150 MB/s
SATA 2=300 MB/s
SATA 3=600 MB/s

No it isnt. Apart from the fact that Fat32 is patented by MS, FAT32 cant store single files larger than 4gb.
Its UFS/UFS2 (Unix File System) encrypted.

Provided that here's no irony in use: Clever? I do mistakes, quite often even. Just as you can see above "face palm".

I see it as starting point for a new era, like a GT6 Prologue. :)
