I changed ps3 and i cant find cars. PLEASE HELP!

how can i recover them without copying my files form old ps3 to new ps3. My old ps3 was damaged and i had to take it to Sony and they gave me a new one but i forgot to copy the save data from that ps3. I only have my save data from my oldest ps3.
 
What do you expect? You forgot to copy your save data. Bad luck.
Start from scratch and keep a current save on your USB/PC from time to time.

EDIT: Do you have access to your "cloud" save data when you`re logged in PSN?
 
Try logging in with your PSN it has a backup of your save file, if you don't use PSN for GT5 nothing you can do about it :/

Don't you still have the hard drive that was in your old ps3 or did you forget to take that out also? IF you forgot to backup/take out the old hard drive then your screwed, you just have to start a new game.

What would that do? You do know that anytime you swap a hard drive from one machine to another, it formats it and completely erases everything right?

Nope I did not know that. I just know you can replace the HD because I did that but not from another ps3 to another ps3.

Yes the hard drive is a standard SATA drive that most laptops use. Once you change it from one machine to another though, the computer(or PS) has to format it to make it compatible with your system, and in the process it deletes any data previously stored on the hard drive 👍
