Um, I meant that as if he was nervous to drive to drive a 355, he shouldn't be stepping into a TVR as a TVR pretty much has a lot more raw power to control than a Ferrari.

when I began reading this, i thought "oh no! Diablomonkey totally wrecked someones car because it was abandoned in front of the garage entrance, HES GOING TO JAIL!"
then I read the rest
dude, u you are very lucky, and dumb, and lucky, and that ferrari needed the extra motivation, to get some paint done.

I saw the damage pics and was just about to say that it only damaged the clear coat. Which could be buffed out within a few minutes. Looks like it was already fixed so congrats I doubt it was much money at all just to have that buffed out.
You can tell from the first pics that the car had already been damaged in the front end at the very bottom and touched up using touch up paint. After looking again they might have repainted that lower section.
 
Well it didn't cost the shop anything to fix because the detail section is also owned by the guy who owns the shop. And all that detail did was buff it out, and I guess that we bought the car from the customer or he traded it in or its a consignment car because the last time I saw it, it had a stock number sticker on the windshield.
 
Thats great then. When I saw the first pics I figured all they needed to do was buff it out. 👍
 
From the looks of the before and after pictures. The bumper had to be repainted? If you look carefully in the picture with the scrape on the driver side, the very bottom had some paint damage that was there previously before you hit the curb. The picture you posted after it got back from the detail shop showed that the paint damage was gone. Not only that but the passenger side needs a wet sanding and buff because I see some overspay. :lol:

Glad your boss was cool about it and you did the right thing by telling him what happened. If it was your Ferrari, I'm sure you would've wanted the person to do the same thing. :)
