So far I've absolutely loved the game and I'm bordering on addicted. All was going well until I found my first gripe last night-

I've heard all the whining about standard cars and didn't want to be one of those guys, but this did it to me:

The Dodge Ram, and Sport Truck Challenge....

OMG was driving that vehicle and those races a joke.

1. The dodge truck looked ok but sounded like ****. I have heard small hatchbacks in the game with more growl than the Ram hemi. Being a former owner I know this truck sounds nothing like this.

2. The dodge truck handled better than some of the sports cars in my garage. I never pushed the tail out, or lost control AT ALL during those races. Knowing from ownership, Dodge Ram trucks fishtail at any over gassing due to the feather-light tail bed on them.

Racing that series felt like I was playing some arcade racer from the 80's.

Other than that I still am addicted and do love the game. But come on, might as well just left half-ass vehicle renderings like this out of the game.

My 2 cents

Yup that event was a huge bummer since ALL the trucks are standard. Just killed that event big time. Plus you had to be lucky enough to see a truck in the used car dealership. No truck in there means no way to race that event. I could not believe there wasnt at least 1 premium truck. I will say again, the standard vehicles ruin this game.

I cant even do the truck event, there are NO TRUCKS to buy in dealership or used cars.

My bet is the tires GT5 through on that truck were better then those in real life. Was your TCS or skid recovery on? That could explain some of the handling too.

As far as sound, I'll leave that to you.

You win a truck in a certain race.

Thats an exaggeration, I only use premium, and this is the only event I had to use standard, they ARE a big black eye on the game though, I only use cockpit so i avoid standards. No reason they could not have a generic cockpit for standards. Patch this PD please.

You win two trucks if you get silver in one of the International licenses and you win one for bronze. Getting a truck is not the difficulty guys, just do the licenses, you don't have to gold them.

Its not difficult, its just you have no way of knowing how to get a truck. Not everyone does all licenses right away. Should be at least one or 2 premium trucks.

Think it's just the Ram, I don't recall winning another truck in the license tests.
Quite a few SUVs though.

Why not do the licenses right away? A lot of cars to start with and it provides you with better racing skills. :)

I'm wondering what type of Tires you were using? In any case that race is a joke, and the sounds are goofy at best. The model and the visuals are horrible and look like something out of GT3 if you have really looked at the truck in photomode from a replay. My biggest gripe on this truck is the B-Speck mode in Laguna Seca. I maxed out $300K in Tuning and the guy still cant get 3rd place. In any case I am Waiting for a patch or my guy to get more experience, Which ever comes first

I dont think that standard cars runin this game I guess I have gotten used to it since half of the cars I like are standard the other half arnt I just wish that there were more American cars ala 2011 mustang / shelby gt500 2010 doge charger ect .....
