the ommision of Chevrolet is just stupidity. How a racing game fails to include one of the winningest manufacturers in racing beats me. The C6 corvettes have dominated every class of racing they've been in and they don't get a mention? I know this game is Japan based (and hey thats cool, I love Japanese cars) but someone really needs to buy the holy one kaz a plane ticket to North America, so he can discover other continents have vehicles and racing history. Again...this isn't a USA rules and every other countries vehicles suck thread. I like all cars, i'm not a car racist lol. I'm not whining at the ratio of Asian cars vs Euro vs USA, I just want some equality. And please pardon any spelling or grammar errors, i'm crammed full of cold medication, and pretty drowsy/light headed as a result.
 
They don't have Ferrari either. I heard they do pretty good in races too >___>
There's Ford there, pretty much the biggest name in the business, and it's the largest museum section, theres Dodge also.
I think the museum has got every big name really needed to get a decent scope of global car history, Lotus seems to stand out a bit though as it's (relatively) young compared to the other companies.
 
You guys considered that maybe it has something to do with manufacturer involvement rather than pd just being lazy or bias?
 
I heard of this thing called Wikipedia. It's pretty much got similar info, you should try it...........

The museum lacks stuff to keep people interested. If we got to see maybe some turnarounds of cars in it, or maybe even some of the cars in game in a museum atmosphere, it would be far more interesting. I'd check it out if some cars were in a museum setup, and we could walk around them like photomode.
 
Maybe they'll add more manufacturers...probably not but hey...it could happen. And Falango thats a neat idea. Virtual Museum displays, using real images alowing us to rotate the vehicles, check out interiors/engine bays. That would be cool. Like the displays in the games dealerships just expanded significantly.

That is what I originally thought it would be like. But technically you get the story for every car in the game in the dealerships/garage. It would be cool if we could make a virtual garage/museum and walk around it like we can in photomode.
 
I don't even understand the museum. Is it a trading card game, is a card game, is it just a bunch of pictures to stare at? What's going on here. lol

BTW, if the "C6 corvettes" are so dominant, why did they only win one race this year? Yea, it's a lot easier to dominate when your one and only competition consists of 2-3 DBR9s that just kinda showed up. Corvette Racing had a much larger back log of info even back to the C5, AMR / Prodrive did not.

Once the competition picked up by switching to GT2, it quickly becomes clear they aren't who they made themselves out to be.

Good team, sure to be a contender next year, but no where near dominant now that they have competition.
 
Even though Porsche's arent in the game, I wish they were in the Museum. Porsche are the most successful manufacture in motorsport by a long shot and arguably have one of the most interesting history's.
 
I've never been back in the museum after the first time i checked it out. To me, this was way underdone. They show a pretty lousy picture of a car with about two sentences about it. It seems like it couldve been so much better. I would love to hear about the cars and their history. You can learn more about the cars by reading about them in the dealerships. And you can even see them driven. This makes the museum almost pointless in my opinion.
 
I agree with most in here, but the OP. . . the C6 hasn't really "dominated" anything, yeah they've won this, won that, but dominate? Please. . .
 
1. Kaz has been here to North America Alot.

2. The C6 hasn't dominated every class it's been in..Considering it's only raced in 2 different Championships, That Being the American Lemans series, where it did win the Championship in 06. And it competes in the FIA GT series, wich i've actually started watching recently, and the Vettes don't do too good and have never won a Championship. So that statement you made about domination..yeah, not really.

3. Isn't the Car being on the game enough? Why do we need this written omage to Chevy? Why don't we worry about why certain car's and company's aren't on the game in the first place.

4. I have no interest in the museum.

Ahem. Of course, the regulators keep trying to stunt the Maserati with length and width and hight restrictions, but it's basically a road-going prototype anyway (similar to the 911 Straussenversion).


The museum will probably evolve over time, like the rest of the game. I mean, if they're still giving out tickets, then they're effectively introducing content.
