It needs to be removed from the game competely.
GT5 is a driving sim right? Does a fictional car necessarily work to cancel that out? Yes, absolutely.
Is't it suppose to be based on real world calculations? Yes, which is why having an imaginary car is a terrible idea.
Think about how much it would decimate the series if top people looked to it to test drive prototype cars? What would be next, flying cars? Cars that can drive underground? Cars that can teleport.
Reminds me of this game called "Microsoft Flight Simulator " on PC. It's like the gran turismo of flying sims. You fly your own jumbo jet in a CAD like interface, and it shows how it would crash. Graphics were rubbish, even for their time. Overall, there's a separate edition for professional aeronautic engineering designers called "Flight Sim Pro - Designer Edition".
GT is just a game.
People forget what games like GT have been about. Forget fixing blocky shadows, forget how many polygons a premium has. Just get rid of that stupid, unrealistic, imaginary car. May as well put Santa's Sleigh in the game.
GT is more than a game, it's an escape, a glimpse, and a test of your skill. So let's not get carried away with mythical beasts.
See what I did there?
