I've been working my way through the Formula GT events individually, before I tackle the championship - I won't take it on until I've hit gold in each single race.

Last night I got to the 4th event at the Nurburgring. It took some time to be sure of where my limits were on each corner, but eventually I get a decent race without going on the beach.

But it seems the AI on this event is desperate for you to win: Whenever I messed up and found myself in 2nd or 3rd, the cars in front would mess up badly on the sharp left-right before the final turn. One would spin out and take the other with it, allowing me free passage to the front again.

They would do this EVERY lap when they were on front, but not when I led. But a little later in the race (I think around lap 14), they started doing it while I was leading too - giving me a big lead. However, when they did this, they seemed to find a lot more speed and pretty soon would catch me.

So no matter what I did, I was almost forced to take the win! Although I did fail on lap 19 when my daughter disturbed me - I was only able to make 2nd place then. The next time was a simple win.

No, the AI ALWAYS spin after the last chicane every race.
This has happened for everyone.
The AI are already as slow as it is, I don't need to be lapping them.

I think I'll try these races tonight and see what happens. I really hope they don't make it too easy, I've been looking forward to the FGT championship almost more than any other and have been saving it as a treat to myself.

The Ai certainly go into full bob mode on that last chicane at nurburgring! It's amusing parking up and just watching make a right mess of it.

Win Fuji and Indy...survive Monaco and win Nurburgring and Monza and you don't even have to race Suzuka. If the AI gave you a fair race at Nurburgring, it would be much more of a challenge. And IF the AI would use rain tires when needed.

To make it even easier, at Indy, spin out the guy who finished 2nd at Fuji.

The AI try to take the chicane too fast and keep spinning out. i found if i was leading and just in front of them, this slowed them down and they didnt spin out...when i got further ahead, they started doing it again.
