I mean, I am 65% through the game and I still feel like I need to drive like an expert. I need to learn how to drift, somebody help please!!!

And I have no idea about tunning my car. Hell!! I have like 140 cars in my garage but do I know how to tune them, or fix a bit of understeer? No!!!!!

damn man, 65% and dont know how to drift????? DAMN, i learned how to drift in the first race (actually since GT1) and you just gotta play around with the settings to fix your understeer, and you have to search how to drift on this site, i put up many posts about how to drift!

dont worry about it that much, just take your car into complex string and test your cars as well as your skill ;) hows that?

Oh, don't worry about it, drifting is just what people do when they dont' want to bother to learn where to brake properly on a course. ;)

There's nothing "expert" about it, it's just sloppy. And it looks cool to american kids. :>

If you want to feel like an expert driver, compete in any of the Pro-level series with a car that's a little bit underpowered compared to the cars in the series. Don't just take your most powerful car into every series, give yourself a little bit of a challenge.

Alternatively, go race the Rally series. That'll get you all the drifting you could possibly ask for. ;)

i dont care much about drifting,if u stick to a line on your replays
you will look lik richard petty 😈 so drifting is only used on rally for me

I cant seem to do drifting on road courses in GT3 for some reason. The rear ends just dont seem to wanna stop swinging outwards regardless of the input from the throttle/brake/steering :\ Bah, I guess Im just too used to GT2's arcade :p

i agree, smooth driving is always faster than sloppy drifting. it also looks a lot more professional in the replays.

I gotta agree with that but it does take some finesse to drift properly.
I think its more like driver style than anything. Its knowing when and where you need it.Or with certain cars, they just seem happier drifting to me.
