You know that whining\whirring noise ALL Gran Turismo 3 cars have? yea, that crap needs to go. If you play GT2 on a home entertainment system(loud), youll realize how much better the engine sound is in GT2 than GT3....i pray to god that GT4 doesnt have that retarded noise. :mad:

I hope they keep it, I loved the sound of that whiny tranny, and I love blasting the sound through my JBL Studio Series speakers too.

The wind noise, especially in bumper cam view, needs some tweaking. It's way to loud, and has to much bass. I have to turn off my sub woofer when I play GT3.
 
Altough I find the gear-whining somewhat annyoing, I still have to agree with Lifters that GT4 should have it. It's simply realistic to have it, because all racing trannies make a whining sound.

You should rather hope that GT4 will get the turbo SFX from GTC, where you could hear the turbo working (bumper view), even on non-selectable cars from GT3 (i.e. Jag XJ220). That's what I'm hoping for.
 
a crackle and gurgle on "kift offs" would be cool, but i dont think we'll see it. the turbo noises could be made FAR more realistic as well.
