hey everybody.
in august I bought the Driving Force GT, and after 23 days, the forcefeedback was stuck and when I was turning right (with no power supply) it was really hard to move, and it could no longer be read by the ps3
I was really pissed off, but luckily logitech replaced the wheel for free!
I'm now on my second one, it has lasted for 60 days with no problems... until
I have the exact same forcefeedback problem.
Logitech were definately not going to give me another DFGT, so I attempted to fix it (14 years old, and I have never tried to fix something before)
so, I used a screwdriver, and opened the DFGT's box.
I took a look inside and see all the parts.
after about 30 minutes of thinking, I decided to turn right on the wheel as hard as I possibly could ( I thought this might unclamp its force feedback)
result? absolutely worked! and I am very proud of myself.
if I ever have this problem again, I will do the same thing
hopefully my DFGT should keep working in 2012 ( I plan to buy a G27 then)
