OK heres the line......WHEN ENTERING A TURN APPLY THE BRAKES IN A STAIGHT LINE.THEN GENTLY LET OFF THE AS WHILE IN THE TURN.I PROMISE THIS STRATIGIE WELL INCREASE YOUR LAP BY ALOT.IF YOUR A GOOD RACER THIS WOULD WORK.IF ITS A ROUND COURSE FOLLOW THE CPU'S LINE.

u can also improve lap times by not driving into the walls or gravel traps. :rolleyes:
 
I knew that!!!!Im kinda rusty in GT3.Have not played it in 5 monthes I've been playen Tokyo Xtreme Racer:Zero alot and SPIDER-MAN
 
I've been racing like that since the early GT2 days.

This would be extremely hard for me, as i'm almost always in the lead , and when not , i have to pass em somehow to win , right? Yeah i'll do some drafting on straightaways , but in the higher leagues computer is often cheating and you can't catch him on the straights (unless you drive a F1 car , which i don't , because i don't find it fun to win it all like that)... as i said a couple times already i finished the game 100% , but this "new line" is known since the first GT , and it depends on corner for me anyway... i drift many corners in real races...
 
Alright Listen to this, going on the gas is faster than the brakes, u will probably get faster lap times if u dont hold the handbrake when racing.

Or you could always try to drive through a course with a front wheel drive car with handbrake pulled the entire time. Makes for some nice sideways action.......

Jeezus this is just another example of a "quality" thread

If you have ever watched motorsports for more than 5 mins you would know that straight line braking is essential
