I was a bit late in getting a place thanks to 2 other possible placements saying no, one because it was full, the other because quite frankly they couldnt be arsed. My dad knows the manager at wellsbourne ontime so looks like i'm off there.

Ontime Automotive operates in diverse industries and across all areas of the automotive community, all subject to their own dynamics. Ontime is by nature an opportunistic company, yet organic growth has constituted a major part of the Group's achievements over the past twelve months.

Actually, looking at my post, probably not  I'll edit it a tad ;)

Must... buy...... Ontime.... Automotive...... merchandise.....

Congrats on the work experience, can you tell us a bit more about what you're going to be doing?

I remember my work experience (nearly), I worked for LRCITSU... sounds like a Sushi restaurant for people who enjoy anagrams, but infact it was Lothian Regional Council Information Technology Support Unit (answering telephones)... was a great experience, but also explains why I don't work in IT... :p

I loved my work experience, I worked at a car garage. Advice to you is to work hard, be polite, punctual and impress them they may offer you a part time job when your older.

Suzannes brother (Steven) works for Ontime automotive, he drives a 6.5 tonne recovery lorry.

thanks for the advice, and I'm going to be doing lots of different work, we've told them Im up for anything, helping out in the respray shop, IT, to simply making tea or coffee, (which I'd rather not be doing!)

not likely, not alot of people like me around here:lol: hey you never know, I could be cool for two whole weeks!!!!

I'm vastly looking forward to it anyway

Prepare to be dissapointed....

Hate to be the one to tell you but rarely does work experience live upto expectations. I don't know many people that hated it, but it's rarely described as enjoyable.

I did my work experience with a chimpanzee.

No really.

I did work experience in Comet.

Go buy some stuff from there.

Aren't ontime the people who delivered Clarkson's GT40 8 months late? ;)

Incidentally, I never want to see a photocopier again. Or a coffee maker.

Or how the electircal/sewage/drainage systems of INCO Clydach again...

However, breaking a £50,000 extremely-high-voltage surge protector was great fun. Especially when my "boss" swore and had to call a repair company out.
