Initial D for ps2 is coming out in japan on 26-june 2003 ,im so happy:D :D and there will be a wheel that you can buy like for gt3 but instead its for that game so a presume its the same like in the arcades.The wheel is 115$ and the game is 50-60$
 
I'm also getting Logitech MOMO Force. And as for Initial D, of course I'll buy it. But unlucky for me, I have to wait for the NA release (damn I wish I have a modded or a JPN PS2).

What's the name of the wheel? And yes, the MOMO wheel is wrapped in leather :drool:

hah yeah i cant wait for this game either, i got family in japan (they all work for sony for some reason :D ) and they always send me mail and emails about stuff thats going on there...and also about this Initial-D game, my aunt said she would send me a copy...and btw, there is a real Initial-D movie coming out (real cars and actors and yeah) in japan, i dont know date though...

also, my good friends dad imports initial-d stuff from japan and sells it to small chains, so i have everything lol

I thought that's gonna be an HK movie, like Legend of Speed. BTW, anyone tried the arcade version?
 
My first experience with the arcade verion 2:I thought that in the game, you had to countersteer and modulate the throttle. So when I got my FC, I raced it on Myogi. I was going 160kph on turn two and I countersteered and modulated the throttle. It was so fun, but when I tried to do the same on the other corners, I spun out. When I saw the replay though, it showed my FC drifting every corner going through the corners at the same speed I raced, but with drifting in it! After that, I was like, "GT3 is better :D" It was fun though 👍 I can't wait for the game to come out.
 
yeah it was a bummer when the creators wanted it to be a easy driving game, like so lil' kids with no experience can play. i thought it could of been better if they added a clutch to it and it would be more better if initiating the drift was more realistic, because it was kind of like a pedal to the floor kind of racing...but oh well, i still love it =)
