Mods, I'm not sure if this is allowed, but I have no problem with it being removed if deemed unnecessary.

Two Friday nights ago, it had rained a little bit and the road was pretty slippery. So I went into Gatton for a drive in my Corolla KE30, my mate Simon came along too.

I found this really good, wide open intersection, with the only intersection in town that has traffic lights in town, just up the road. So I clutch kicked it in second, and did a mad drift turning right.
I came up to the red light at the intersection, stopped, and saw the cop car roll past, turning right onto the same road as me. I watched him go past, thinking it was all okay. Until he did a U-turn right behind me, and I knew straight away.

$240 and no demerit points taken. He had the option of monetary penalty and points, or with no points. Probably because I was respectful to him, he didn't take points, thankfully.

Anyone else wanna share their stories?

but most importantly, did you learn your lesson?

Personally, I think that if this thread were to remain open it would be about your "failure" stories; where you did something bad and got caught. Trying to avoid the "I ran away from the cops and the pigz didn't catch me, y0!" kinda tales.

Yes, I did.

Keep it on the track :)

The thing is, it was all my fault. I'm not venting my anger at the copper, because I have no anger or resent. It was my mistake, I accept the penalties, and I don't expect any sympathy whatsoever.

Well, good for you. You're quite possibly the first person likely to do such a thing that actually feels that way.

Is the thread title supposed to read “I got caught”?
