I got GT5:p today!!! How was your first online race??

Hello everyone :P

today I went and got a copy of GT5:P
currently finished Classes C and B

I tried online like 20 mins ago in Fuji Beginners with a RX8 and RX7 later

First online was with the RX8. I was shocked to see all the NSXs...
It was quite fraustrating as the cars were bumping me through the worst turns of the course but ended 7/12

Second race went well as I lead for half a lap... then got bumped off and I got penalty with it... 5/12

Thrid race went very well as I had the RX7 to test with. BUT NSXs speed past me. The last leg I got blocked off from a yellow Evo IX.... :grumpy: result 5/10

Fourth race was the best I handle all corners very well and lead until the straight with MORE NSXs... 3/12 :dopey:



btw Im a clean racer sticks to lines, lets people past :sly:
but im a noob caus its the first day :crazy:

So I ask how was your first online experience??
 
HSR Beginner Standard, I'll never forget it, nothing more then a street brawl
 
welcome to the club buddy, everybody bumps online and it's very very frustrating especially when you're in 1st-3rd place. my first experience is very well much like yours, everybody always bumping into eachother. i got into first place when i was punted offroad into 3rd place, i thought "well i can get back into first again, no big deal." but right when i hit the road again i get a penalty for shortcutting, it was over. that's when i finish the race in 8th place.
 
Im gonna have to endure all the bumps :scared:

Yup, my experience was the same too, get to S class and come join us in the Pro events...its 100 times better, although there are still a couple of punters, its a lot better.
You might be new, but you'll probably learn a lot more from racing with us than you will in those beginner events.

yeah, those beginner events are just infested with punters everywhere. especially the first event in the fuji f track. good luck trying to get pass the first corner and the very sharp corner near the end without getting punted.

yep LOTS OF NSXs :scared:

First corner is not bad but in the second half is worse :crazy:

Exactly the same

With moves up to intermediate and finally professional however I've really been enjoying the racing, even if you still get the punters.
 
You need to learn to control your excitment. This is not the Jedi way.
