milefile: When the wheelbearing goes completely, the wheel will detach itself from the car. That's sure to give you a bit of a hurry-up on the replacement thing.

Josh: I had P6000s on the Subaru, and thought they were awesome. They grip like s*** on a sheet. Listen to them: they really tell you when they're about to lose the road. Excellent.

Yep currently running some Toyo Proxes T1-S myself. They pretty much kick ass. Had Toyo FZ4's which were pretty good, but these T1-S are sticky as hell!! Gotta love a good tire, specially when they are new :) Toyo has some pretty crazy SUV tires also, maybe check them out next time you need to change tires Milefile.

You're nuts, it's incredible.

Don't do any burnouts in your SUV? Oh, and what year is it? 1998?

Coopers are for hillbillies. Pirellis are cooler. Tire snobery. Cool.

👍

Any non-hillbilly agrees...

!!! heh, got a good laugh out of that one.

Josh, what is a Loaner car??? Never heard of em before...is it like "try before you buy" or something?

Most dealerships offer either loaner cars or transportation service when a costomer's car is in the shop and they don't have another to drive.

Looks more like rape

My car could go for some good racing tires just for the weekends. Any suggestions? Its not like hard core racing or anything, just casual car club racing. I want to save the tires I have now for the street.

*From the corner of his eye* LOOK OUT! A Firestone tire!

Hahahahah!

The tires that go from all terrain tires to racing slicks in a matter of seconds. :)

MazKid got it.:)

When you take your car in to get something done, and don't have someone to go with you in a separate vehicle, they provide you with a loaner car. They loan you the car until the work on your's is done.

We got a black 3.0 Z4 when we had some spa treatment package done on my Dad's BMW the other day. Damn, that was a fun car.:trouble: Much more fun than the seafom green '03 325is we got before that.:scared:

They always have really low mileage because they're usually brand new cars. The 325is had 300 something miles on it. The RX300 had around 4,000. The ES300 had 967 when I got in it. The Z4 only had 122! The thing wasn't even broken in yet.

Loaner cars are one of the main reasons we still get work done at dealserhips. It's always fun to drive around in a new, free, car for a day or two.👍

I got Toyo Proxes on my Yukon and now that I have them I will never switch to another tire. Even on a huge SUV like my Yukon they make a hell of a difference.

Man, I can't even get one tire for $197 let alone 4.

What kind of tires are you using?

I think I have the same tires on my Trans Am as the one's advanR has on his M3(I believe it's an M3) - g-Force T/A KD's, and they're over $260 a piece.:banghead: Expensive, but 1,000x's better than the F1's, or whatever, that it had on it when I bought it.

Anyone know where I can get some prices on some g-Force T/A DR's, or Comp T/A DR's, in 275/40-17 or 275/35-17?

You idiots know nothing.

Jesus, the Easter Bunny, and the Michelin Man play poker together every Sunday night. They're probably playing right now ('cos the whole world uses US central time), in fact.

I'm using the BFGoodrich g-force T/A KDW2, 225/40/18 Magnificent tire.

Did you try www.tirerack.com that's where I got my tires from. I'm pretty sure that they had the drag radials listed in there.

I've tried tirerack a few times, but I can't get the drag radials to show up.

I can click every little box underneath Summer Tires/All-Season Tires, the BFGoodrich box, and all of the speed rating boxes, and only 4 different tires come up - g-Force T/A KDWS's, Comp T/A HR4-2's, g-Force T/A KDW's, and g-Force T/A KD's.

Well, I can find them here, but they don't show up when I try to find a tire for my car.:irked:

The Hoosier R3S03 and A3S03 radials look nice.👍

I guess they don't make g-Force T/A Drag Radials in my size of 275/40-17.:banghead: They have Comp T/A DR's in that size, though, but they're not as good in the dry traction area. Bah, better than nothing. Thanks, Boom.:)

No problem!

Those g-force DR look nasty. :trouble:

I will certainly keep buying the KDW2's that's for sure. Since I put coilovers on my car and with those tires, it's been amazing! Worth every penny. 👍

I know! I might have to get a set of 18's just so I can use them. Nah.

What kind of coilovers did you go with?

It's amazing how much different a car handles/feels once you upgrade tires, and suspension.👍

I got the HKS LS coilover set. Ride height adjustable. Good solid coilover.

I went haywire one day and just bought a whole bunch of stuff for my car.

I got the KDW2's and new wheels, HKS Hyper Exhaust and the SRT Intake and ECU.

You might want to take a look into that SRT package for your GS if you havent' already and they also make a supercharger for the GS as well.

www.swiftracing.com

My IS3 sure does pull a lot harder since I got all that put on.
I still need a turbo though.

Just need $15,000  www.toyomoto.com

What wheels did you get?! Got any pictures?

I think I've read about a supercharger for it somewhere, but I wasn't too interested in it. I'd rather turbo it, or just do a 2jz-gte/6speed swap. The swap would probably be $10-20,000, though, unless I did all of the work myself. I could fabricate all of the motor mounts, and stuff, but I've never done a full motor/tranny swap by myself so I would definitely screw a lot of **** up.

I'm very curious as to what this is going to be, what it's going to consist of, and how much it's going to cost.

Yeah, I'm curious as to what that is too. There very vague aren't they.

And doing a motor and tranny swap, um yeah, I wouldn't even know where to start.
Swift has got like 5 stages of supercharger for the GS!

I got the Moda R6's. 18x8

moda_r6_ci3_l.jpg

I was thinking of going with a 18x9 in the rear, but then I couldn't rotate my tires.

I need to get some more pic's. I have a few more, but there on my home computer.

Weather has been really nice lately so now should be a good time too.

I hate when websites have stuff like that, but when you click on them it says stuff like "Coming Soon!" SRT has that crap come up for everyone of their GS Supercharger kits.

Those wheels are bad. Your car looks awesome man.👍 Good thinking with not going with wider wheels out back. I used to want wider tires out back than out front, but it would cost too much for tires, especially if it's an 18/19 inch tire.

I seriously doubt I'll be buying tires for this Jeep again. :)
