Dude you people are insane...you told me "you can't get GTA4 without a preorder" sure...
I got mine tonight at about 6:30...I called th Best Buy closest to me, they were out, so I call the next closest one, the lady says that they have 20 of em. So I'm waiting for my bro to get home, and I decide to call them back and ask if I can get one reserved. They come up with this 5 game limit on reserves...they had 5 held so I couldn't get one held for me. She "guerrentiees" that it will be there, and even says that they will give me someone's reserved one if there's none left. She says that if I come in within 2 hrs, I'll have one. I get there in a little less than an hr, NONE LEFT. So I talk to this guy, no one knows who this lady is or something, so I'm like "She told me that there would be one here for me no matter what, she guerrenteed it." and the guy's like "what's your name, did you hold one?" and I said "Well she told me that they can't hold more than 5, but she promiced that one would be there for me" and he said "Well, if you come back here before we close, we can give you one of the reserved ones if the person doesn't show up" so I'm like "Me and my brother drove out here(St.Peters MO) from St.Louis county, I can't just come back. I was guerrenteed this game by one of your people" and he's like "well the next shipment comes in Friday..." so then I'm like ok...and I start just walking around waiting for my bro to get back(his oil light is smucked up so he checked his oil at a gas station, and it was fine), and I see the guy walking towards me, and he's like "This one was only to be held till 6:15, here you go, it's yours" and I'm like "Thank you" and go to the register. Pay for it($20 from my bro(his B-day gift to me) and $20 from me, and the $5 off thingy from game pro), walk outside and wait for my bro to drive up. While I'm waiting, I think Matt who's GTA4 I just bought, walked in the store...well I saw several kids my age walk in there. Too bad, so sad.
Anyhoo I just played around in the game for 2 hrs or so...did 1 mission(did a rampage too), and got about 7 packages. Drove the Moped for a bit, drove a lot of the cars, and just was flying around on the Kawasaki Ninja for a while. Got busted several times, and made the mistake once of going into the police station and walking around....got lost, got shot, died.
It's a fun game, I like how you can buy houses and stuff, although I got $170 which won't buy me a new Moped let alone a new house. I'm still not use to the laout of Miami yet, there's a lot of confusing roads and such...
Fun game though.
