Im having a trending problem right now with A LOT of my standards missing hp(no stripe,SVT Cobra R, 454,etc.) with not much luck coming from the good ole' oil change/ overhaul. So im looking at the mileage on these things (mind you i bought them like this so it is PROBABLY my fault, i guess? )and they have been ridden quite a bit (mind you that i havent put any personal miles on them, and none of these vehicles are second hand/from another user. all cars were purchased from UCD)
the denial part comes in where i refuse to believe that i have to find and purchase these things all over again lol...HELP!

That's why I don't buy anything unless its well under around 7000 km or so. One Needs to be very selective, On the other hand over at the marketplace you should be able to obtain low mileage cars easily through trading, maybe even be donated

Well the only thing you can do is, use one of the 10 Car Restoration Tickets they gave you when you Updated to v2.0.

After the Restoration you will have to properly "Break In" the car(drive 200mi. and do a oil change.) DO NOT DO A OIL CHANGE FIRST YOU WILL LOSE 3HP YOU CANT GET BACK!!!!!

This is false. There is no permanent horsepower loss by changing the oil right after purchase. The only time you lose horsepower is by mileage greater than 4000. Chances are, if you have 10k or less miles, an engine rebuild in the garage will put you within 4 horsepower of maximum and that only equates to .010-.015 in times on SSRX. Unless you find a 0 miles or lower mileage car in the UCD, I wouldn't bother wasting the restore coupon.

I beg to differ my friend. I had a '97 EK Changed the oil, broke it in, changed the oil again and got 398HP. I bought another '97 EK broke it,changed the oil and got 401HP

The other point, I just got a Supra RZ as a donation, had 43K mi. Oil change and Rebuild 713HP. Restoration, Break in and oil change 725HP.

Probably! On a few occasions we have had a few people try out @ 398 HP and claim they cant do anything about it. When I tried out I had 398HP, the Team Leader told me to buy a new one break it in and wa-la 401HP. I gave up using "Real Life" 💡's in this game along time ago.

Nevermind the fact that by your own country's definition, you are not an adult. Do not speak on behalf of the (two hundred thousand and change) GTP members, unless you have some sort of evidence they do all share the same opinions.

Another thing that you can do is, race a few times on A SPEC mode so the UCD will change. Also everytime you turn on or off you PS it could change as well. Just keep looking and looking till you find cars with less then 8,000.00.!!!

2. i chose to ask this question here deliberately because of the people that i am used to getting advice from(you hear A LOT of different things from different ppl, and you learn to trust some more than others). i could also get more insight on how it relates to drag in particular as the conversation went on.
3. Ive noticed this as more of a global thing in ALL automotive related forums/communities (GTP, playing GT5 online, and a few other real life auto/crotchrocket forums im in) that people tend to have a certain sarcasm and unnecessary belittlement problem when simple but legitimate questions are asked . For some odd reason its not enough to just answer the question. everyone has to add their "YOU BIG DUMMY" signature on it lol. its actually quite sad...... anyway cary on

yeah, please come to me at any time, im only a message alway on gt5 and gtp... now adressing your issues...im making these short because i just typed it longer for 15 minutes and my app closed. any ways...

first off the game can be glitchy.

second, it doesent matter when you change your oil, ive tried.

third, i have a chevelle with 32k miles missing about 13 hp i believe.

also, speed test miles DO NOT COUNT!!!

i was much more desctiptive but i need sleep, ill be more clear and adress ryzos issue tomorrow. there is always a logical explination as long as you think about it guys.
