I had a different idea on Remote Racing

When I downloaded 1.06, I was excited by being able to control my drivers from places other than home. To my surprise, I saw that only a handful of races could be done using Remote Race, not ordinary B spec races.

I originally thought that I could check my drivers at school or whatever during say 24 hour Le Mans, but I see that only short races provided by PD are available. I don't know about you, but spending 5 minutes setting up a race with a friend's drivers for about 4000 cr is not really worth it.

Am I missing something here? I thought I could remote race my drivers during endurance races.
 
Same here. Especially because I don't know other people with GT5 who use it online. When I am out, I would run it on B spec. If it is running on B spec, how will I do those races against friends? And I will NOT just leave it in the case my friends want to/can race me, while I could be earning credits and experiences.

Completely agree my friend. Maybe an idea for GT6+, to click into A Spec or B Spec mode, and in B Spec mode be able to have multiple drivers doing multiple things. Say You have four guys on your 24hr Le Mans, you are racing your Miata for 4 hours yourself, and your notebook has your 5th best Bob racing something else online. Now that's grinding of the future!
 
+1. I was disappointed with this feature also but at least the rest of the update was awesome.
 
Same. I was really hoping to keep an eye on my progress in 24h races while I was away from the house.
 
Yup, totally pointless as far as I'm concerned.
 
agreed. The thought of going on vacay and just doing endurance races over and over remotely had me hoping
