Now, seriously enough, I'm surprised no company has saw this before, but why don't arcade companies release emulated ports of more recent arcade classics. I'm sure arcade boards like Noami 2 and Lindberg are a little recent, but do you know how fast I would jump on a PS3 if, say, SEGA (for example) released a compilation of all of the Model 3 games? I could justify both the console price, the game price and a Logitech wheel price just to play Super GT and Daytona USA 2 at home in pixel perfect emulation.
Granted, being Sega they would bugger it up like they did with SEGA AGES, but the allure of so many games that I constantly spend so much money on would be far more than enough to make me justify the cost of either system (and for that matter, its cheaper than actually buying an arcade cabinet or a computer fast enough to run more recent games in M.A.M.E.). Midway seems to be the only company that has understood this, and even then the only more recent games they have done is San Francisco Rush (though that was awesome in its own right).
