Umm, 50 degrees to 60 degrees is "freezing?" Then what the heck is -14 with a wind-chill making it feel like -31?

That's Funny Jpec07, I work in Quincy. It's likely I could have given you a ride home.

Small world. And I'm guessing that Klos goes to Quincy college? That's within site of my office.

It took me a 1.5 hours to get home yesterday, and I spent over an hour this morning diggin out, and then another hour driving into work.

and to think I moved out of Vermont to get away from snow.

Klos is a high-school student, and not a very bright one, if you were to ask me.

SO what do you other people think. Are you happy about your geographical location on this planet? Answer me this question,..... why would I want to move to your town?

I'm happy. You wouldn't want to move to my town.
I'm happy here and would not want to spoil it.
Please don't move here ok?
:D

I know what people immediately think of when they think of canada.

But Calgary Alberta is a very fertile place.

I can honestly say that I have encountered almost no racism.

70% of the people here are richer than the average person in North America.

Everyone here is happy, and most of them are from all over the world. We have alot of Americans, Brits and other Europeans. Because everyone wants to move here.

This only fits too well with my argument, but it is rated the 3rd best place to live in north america.

It has VERY low crime. It had 11 murders in 2002, and there are over 1 million people here. For comparison, Spokane WA, had 23 murders in 2002 and 60,000 people live there.

It is also one of the cleanest cities on earth pollution wise. We get free health care. Its the 2nd fastest growing city in North America.

Its very big, and there is alot to do.

There is a desert to the south and east, and the best places in the world to ski and snowboard to the west i.e. Banff, Jasper, Whistler etc.

You can drink at 18 yrs old. The marijuana is cheaper than USA by 85%. Calgarys weed was also rated the best weed in the world 3 years in a row by High Times Magazines "Cannabis Cup".

I love it here so much.

Uh... if you believe Saskatchewan and South Dakota are desert, you need to take a trip to where milefile is.

No, I am talking Drumheller and the Medicine Hat area. They have found countless dinosaur remains here.
BTW I am not reffering to other provinces and American states, I am reffering to places within Alberta, so max 1 hour 30 minutes from here.

The Badlands, about 1 hour from here. Not actually a sand dune'd dessert.

Banff, about 40 minutes from here.

Beautiful! Thanks! You affirm my desire to move.

By the way... there are very few sand dune deserts in the world, most in Africa and Mogolia. Your typical desert is dry scrub, cactus, and rock.

Vermont to Quincy? that's a big commute. I don't think you could've given us a ride home. I live just south of Worcester (unless you take Route 2 to I295, it would've just been a ride down I190).

Jpec, I worked on a project out in Rutland a few months back. So I was out in that area quite a bit. I've also worked on a Jr/Sr High School in North brookfield. Not too far from you.

sorry for the confustion, I actually live about 30 miles south of Quincy. I commute up Rte 24 every monring.

A trip to Worcester might have been a bit out of the way.

Glad you got home Ok though.

I'm glad I'm home too. The only bad thing is that now I have to shovel it all for slave's wages.

I'm sold! where do i sign up? lol.

The only way to deal with snow is to own a smokin' fast snowmobile!! So , if all of you want to move down south. Go ahead , more room for us sledders.

I have driven several snowmobiles.

I drove one called an Arctic cat 1050cc Triple (3 cyl). (1.1L 3 Cyl)

Due to the big tread and the very low power to weight ratio I am positive that this thing would out accelerate pretty much any car on the market. I am guessing a 0-60 under 3.0 seconds. Unfortunately top speed is just under 200km/h which doesnt compete with most cars.

I believe it weighs roughly 400lbs and has about 160hp at 10,000+rpm.
