Listen, because you're new here, we don't dislike you. We don't hate you. It's just that we have opinions and forums are where they are discussed in a peaceful and civilized manner.

In short, we know that you have run out of things to say about what you hold so dearly by typing:

"...don't be a hater..."

This term is getting older than last week's toe cheese, so please bury it in a desert next to your piss-poor online behavior.

1. Read the rules.
2. Read before you post.
3. Stick to the topic as to what you type and what you upload to the GTPlanet server.
4. Read the first three rules again.

Yeah, this is a rant.
 
I'd post the obligatory "don't be a hater" post, but I'm above that. I'll just say I agree with you. I'd also like to point out that I hate the first person who makes a post with just "don't be a hater" in it.

Rants are fun and they make me all happy inside. Like warm apple pie.

Pupik, You got more than a point. Nevertheless I think you should drink 6 beers and go to sleep.
 
Don't hate the player (playa-for those of you from the ghetto).
Hate the game.

As pupik said, Don't start with "don't be hatin' ". Start with "I see where you're comin' from. This is what I think..." Then cogently present your points. You can attack the issue. But if you attack the person, you are wrong.
If you are unable to present an intelligent counterpoint, stay "still in the corner", eventually somebody will jump up and say exactly what you're thinking.

For those of you feeling the need to attack the person, we have a saying around here for loud preachers. "If you have a weak point SHOUT.
Think about it...
 
I just call them a dumb bastard. Actually, the adjective varies depending on the situation. Sometimes I use two. Pedophilic and flaccid in Boomie's case.

Actually, I banned somebody out of hand this morning for using the term "haterz" in their first post. Well, that and other obnoxious behaviour, including being a JDM fanatic.

In addition to this rant I'd like to say something about the word "ghetto" and how it is used to describe something of poor quality. It's annoying. Please stop or I'll stab you in the face. Then you'll know something about the ghetto.

"****, yo! That **** is mad ghetto, yo! Check that **** out, it's mad ghetto, dawg! Yo, snap! ****!"

Please stop. Okay, now speak like a human being. Or in another language, that way I won't realize how badly you're mangling it.
