I hate thieves =(

I was already kinda attached to it and I only had it for 3 months... It was my main form of transportation... It was stolen this Saturday night from my own balcony/patio. The thieve must have thrown it over the fence to be able to get away with it... I already filled out a police report using the bikes serial number... :indiff: I think it's gone for good though....

That sucks , Unfortunate that its in Sacramento. I used to live in California and I didn't think they stole like that , I guess thats why I keep my bike in my house. Seems like you rally liked that bike and it looks nice too.
 
That sucks. I race bicycles, and my bikes are always inside for this very reason. Bikes are just too easy to steal, and have very low penalties when you do steal them.

My bikes (2) are worth a total of around $6k, well more than my car, but stealing my car is a felony, stealing my bikes the police probably won't even do anything.
 
My bikes are my only transportation besides the bus. It's one of the reasons I have more than 1 bike but it shouldn't have to be that way. I've been there though, happened when I was out and it was a long walk home. Sucks man. :(
 
I have a 1000 dollar trek, I keep it outside with an easily openable lock, but the neigborhood is good so I don't mind it's been there for two years it's fine!

Edit, after reading this, well the bikes are now in the house
