I have a problem. Help please?

Well me and my mate were racing on gt3>>arcade mode>>2 player>> and both had the mazda 787b and it got off to a good start. But when ever one of us was in second place the car wasn't accelerating properly and the rear of the car was vibrating and shaking all over. Anyone know whats wrong?
 
In the options menu, there is a selection for 2 player mode. This allows you to set Number of laps, Tire wear, how far apart the two cars start the race (handicap), and it also adjusts the Slow car boost. This may be your problem.

What sounds like is happening, is the slow car boost kicks in on the second place playergiving the car an HP boost. While this is supposed to help, it's having the adverse affect. You're getting severe tire spin, making the rear end much looser, and bouncing more.

Check this setting, hopefully it'll help.
