Got 3 calls by a blocked number today. First one was very odd asking me if i was gay and other random things. I thought it was a highschool friend prank calling me at first but on the last call i asked where i knew him from and he mentioned from a job ive told noone about. He somehow got into their computers and got some info about me and got my number from there. He was really freaked out at how calm i was about it telling him no. So yeah i have a gay excoworker stalking me, whats happened to you today?
Just had to get this out my chest since I just found it odd that he remembers me after 5 months and found my number and what not. Im not homophobic in any way and found it interesting that he would man up and call me to testify.

Yeah sorry...
I have a habit of doing these things when drunk.
Hope you weren't too scared.
:guilty:

But seriously, it would be a bit weird and quite odd. Plus....its frightening that someone could have gotten the original poster's number and all quite easily.

Did this gay caller ask you for some extra favours over the phones, or was it just for a causal call to "scope" you out for a gay adventure time thing? Not trying to be funny, but at this moment in time, it is the only way I can think to ask whether this dude is looking for a partner or just someone to admire about...(odd I know, but still....weirdier things have happened!)

He straight out asked me if I wanted to meet. I told him no i dont ride on that boat. He said he feltbad but just couldnt take it any more and then told me he wouldnt bother me again. He also told me i was quite comfterble with someone saying what he was saying.

As for getting my number he did say he knows me from that old job, meaning he went into the computers and got the number or simply remembered my name and searched online.

He found out your job by hacking computers? Get Lisbeth Salander to counter-hack him, then. That'd show the jackass not to mess with you.

Excoworker, meaning we aparently worked together in a store that employed over 100. I can just tip the cops off if i want to mess with him but thats up to whatever mood I am in.

Then you get the police asking why you waited so long to report him. Do it now, people like that could be dangerous to someone else.

Oh, someone just coming out with it and saying it.

Well, considering he said that he won't bother you again, probably best to just forget it. Unless of course, he keeps hassling you. If that does happen, then report it. But if it never happens, there's not much need to go to the police.

The getting your phone bit is a bit odd though.

Meh, so some guy has a crush on you and did a little snooping to find your number, big deal. I've gotten several coworkers numbers from the employee phonebook, all of which turned into good friendships.

People like what? So could anyone else for that matter. I really don't see any reasons to get worked up over the situation yet alone report it to the police.

Tell him you are gay and you want to hook up with him. Then tell him to meet you in some random part of Australia... that way he goes all the way there only to find out you never showed up. That will show him.

If you need to resurrect a thread, at least PRETEND it is important.
