So i found out at the eye doctor yesterday that i have Keratoconus. Basically this means that the cornea of my eye is shaped like a cone instead of the shape of my eye.
what does this mean? well it means that glasses will no longer help me see any better. if i want my Vision to improve i am forced to wear the Rigid Gas Permeables. or in plain English. Hatd Contacts. needless to say ive been wearing glasses for 15 years and have grown to love them not wanting contacts for anything aside from sunglasses. and now im loosing them.
i am a little bummed that my eyes suck but i just founf out i have a friend who has the same thing so i am not alone.
ANDDDDD some of it )the $400.00 lenses) are covered by my insurance because its medical and not optical! woot!
