I have raced every model of GT1 used car (62 models in all) in race-mod form.

With each one I managed to at least (cheat and..) win the GT Cup.

With many I won the GT-I Cup.

For others I settled for winning one or both of the UKvsJP or USvsJP series.

Now to try the hard-tuned versions...

I think in that case I will actually enter the Hard-Tuned Series with each and see how I do, perhaps backing off to an easier series if that seems totally hopeless.

contains some info/results. but I can't update it until I get my PC fixed.

Hey, it's only five years.

And I didn't get the game until late 1998.

I am what is known as an enthusiast. ;)

Nah, the AI sort of slow down and wait for you.

Remember, this was with me using the race-mod versions. And this is the GT Cup, not the GT World Cup.

Still, all the Eunos/Miata Roadsters and the slower del Sol did provide a little bit of suspense in the races. And the titles of some of my replays claim a little cheating with some of them. :D

Some of the new cars might be worse--the Demios, or the infamous Galant VR-G.

If you play the PAL game, I can also believe that the PAL game does not give you as much of a weight advantage with race-modification as the US game does.

You can actually purchase the Nismo 400R in the used cars section of Nissan at certain points in the game. Did you use that.
