I have some questions regarding GT7 sports?

So i tried my hand at online racing today in GT7 and there are a few things I don't quite understand??

1st race was at the barcelona circuit I qualified 10 and finished 6th in the maclaren gr3 from 95 i don't understand the whole bop thing?

2nd race same track qualifed 5th but skidded out on a curb and got faced 180 was down to 16th place but fought back and finished 8th in the db9

3rd race same track qualifed 5th and finished 3rd in the aston martin db9

why do the game punish my car with weight reduction and hp nerf when its a group 3 racer??
also although I finished 3rd I see no bronze medal in my profile??
the porches gr3 ran in circles around me however when I tried choosing it from my garage it was yellowed out for some reason but others had no trouble choosing it?

also in 3rd race nr 1 and 2 was engaged i some kind of ramming battle which ended with nr1 skidding out and becoming 10 so the other dude was completely unfaced I watched the replay and he had 0 assists on he ran that race like he was a bot script on remoteplay??

Is it even possible to do clean races in online sports mode?? seems like there is alot of nudging...

The cars have wildly different stats to begin with (the McLaren F1 GTR particularly in Gr.3) so are adjusted with weight and power changes to make them more equal.

The profile "medals" are for Time Trial event completion.

If a car is heavily tuned it may no longer be selectable for a race because it is well outside specs. Some screenshots would help... are you sure you were trying to pick the right car?

I don't know what any of that means; why would you equate not having driver assists on with being a "bot script on remoteplay"?

all my gr.3 cars are completely stock but some was with yellow outline on them and a few where not so I choose the ones that where not...

well because the first driver he lost control in that very heavy battle they had however the other guy's car did not even flinch and as I watched his replay his driving jusy seemed a bit unatural.... but then again wut do I know first time doing it online so he could just be good..

It's because you need to buy and equip Racing Medium tyres. You should be able to select the car, then click the race shop button (the shopping cart) then buy Racing Medium tyres.

Your stock Gr.3 cars probably have Racing Hard tyres equipped which aren't eligible for this race.

aah that would make alot of sense didn't think about that and since I don't think I raced it before its propably still on RH tires
