i've got the honour to play with a preview version of GT 4
during the SMAU , an international new technology demonstration, there was 2 ps with GT4
GT series is my only reason for play station!
the pre-game that i played was only 20-25 cars and 5 race tracks, and just single race 2 laps.
there are american muscle cars, like cuda or Corvette Stingray, Japanese cars. lancer evo VIII, Impreza, and some cars we can find in GTC.
Also ITALIAN car like Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint !
at first choose a truck, like New York or races truck
there is a rally track full of turnes....its fantastic!
than the car, and you have 3 option to set:
gear AT/MT
ASM/TSC
TYRE normal/ race
but this is a preview version, something can change...
and now...about driving
driving is very different, but you have to consider that i cannot set the joypad, so i have to play with axelerator and brake on push-bottons.
[[the biggest difference, and i don't like it, is while oversteering:
an example, when you are oversteering to right, you have the wheels turns towards left to the end of the oversteer, the car skids towards right, the outside of the curve]](online translater, i don't know if it is right!
i got to do 4-5 races before "understand" the new driving and have a good oversteer...
[there is a wonderful track, that seems a lot a Japanese Track: do someone no "Bestmotoring Productions"?
they tests 6 cars on a truck, in a few laps race....its really like GT and they start to do it in 1993, and you can bye in japan a VHS or DVD (around 60' min), i have 2 dvd that you can find in europe and US, Best Motoring Intrenational" ...
